Exhibitions East and West
Windham Fine Arts / Ann Korologos Gallery
If you are heading east or west to ski this winter, there is a chance you will find a show of my paintings opening in a ski town nearby.

In the
West, Ann Korologos Gallery in the Aspen/Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado will feature some of my newest paintings in a group show titled, "Winterscapes of the West". Visit the gallery or check the gallery website to see the paintings. Or you can view them (and other available works from the NY show, below) when you register to see "Available" pages.
The Korologos Gallery show opens January 28 and runs through February 14.

Starting two days later in the East, a large solo exhibition of about thirty oil and gouache paintings will be on display at Windham Fine Arts in the Catskill Mountains ski town of Windham, New York. You can view the paintings on the gallery website or at www.ThomasPaquette.com. I will be at the opening reception on Friday, January 30, 5-8pm. I hope to see you there!
The Windham Fine Arts show starts January 30 and runs through March 14.

Seen on the net -
From the High Seas...

The Cunard Lines UK website features one of my paintings they purchased for their Queen Mary 2 collection. It is shown on a "virtual tour" of the Queen Victoria Suite, and is more economical than seeing it in person, no doubt.

How to locate this suite on the Cunard site: Go to http://queenmary2.cunard.co.uk/. On the gold-colored menu in the middle of the page, hover over <Accommodation> and scroll down to <Q3 Queens Grill Royal Suites>. Click. A 360° interactive photo of the Queen Victoria Suite will load. In a few seconds as the picture pans to the right, you will see my painting, "Phantom Canyon III", over the sofa looking seaward.

Coincidentally, a fraternal twin, "Phantom Canyon IV", happens to be in this month's show at Windham Fine Arts gallery. The ship also harbors a larger painting of mine, "Broken Limbed Tree", in the deluxe Windsor Suite, but I couldn't get there virtually.

... to the High Alps.
Back on land, high in the French Alps, the tourism bureau for the beautifully preserved historic village of Colmars les Alpes is using my painting on their website. I first visited this enchanting region in 1996 to paint, and have been back a few more times. Truly a wonder to behold. You can visit their site, starting with the page pictured above, at http://www.colmars-les-alpes.fr/culture.html. This site is offered only in French. Many of my paintings from this region, including Fortress, Colmars les Alpes (above), were shown in my recent solo exhibition at Dowling Walsh Gallery in Maine.
