Paquette paintings at United States Embassies

From 2016-2020, a Paquette painting went to the U.S. Embassy in Vilnius, Latvia, following three large oil paintings which were prominently displayed at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow through 2016. The U.S. Department of State in fall of 2012 purchased for their permanent collection, Landmark Tree.

In 2012, t
he front page of the State Department's website for the Art in Embassies program (www.art.state.gov) highlighted Paquette with his biographical story and images. You can see their archived content here including details of some recent loans I made to them.

Other U.S. Embassies and Consulates for which Paquette paintings were selected over the past two decades include facilities in San Salvador, El Salvador; St. Petersburg, Russia; Athens, Greece; Vienna, Austria (OSCE); Phnom Penh, Cambodia; Santiago, Chile; and the American Institute in Taipei, Taiwan; Rome, Italy; Riga, Latvia; Vilnius, Lithuania; Havana, Cuba (US Interests Section), and Brazzaville, Congo, N'djamena, Chad.

Older, But Still Interesting, Stuff

My 'green' studio in the woods

paquette studio Not quite new anymore but still feeling that way, I am keeping the story of my studio here for interested folks. Designed by InScale Architects, my environmentally sensitive studio was completed in 2009. To see photographs with commentary, visit the Studio page.

Paquette paintings in the Queen Mary 2 collection
The art collection aboard the Queen Mary 2 - the largest, most luxurious ocean liner to date - includes two Paquette oil paintings. You can see them personally if you book accommodation in the posh Windsor Suite and Queen Victoria Suite. Click here to see the paintings on my site.
