Ah, June!

Dear Subscriber:

What is so rare as an event in June, when the calendar is burgeoning with the promise of 48-hour days?

I'll tell you what. It's these three exhibitions.

Meibohm Fine Arts, East Aurora, NY - June 10:

My exhibition "Nature as Muse" has already been installed and can be previewed by contacting Meibohm Fine Arts. The opening reception, which I hope you can attend so I can say hello to you personally, is next Saturday, June 10, from 10 am to 2 pm. The gallery is basically across the street from the Roycroft campus. -- "the best preserved and most complete complex of buildings remaining in the United States of the 'guilds' that evolved as centers of craftsmanship and philosophy during the late 19th century".
The exhibition continues to July 15.

Small Green Sky Vista

Groveland Gallery, Minneapolis, MN - June 10:

Groveland Gallery's group exhibition "Present," which marks their 50th anniversary, includes work by me and the many other artists currently represented by the gallery. It also opens on June 10, from 2-5 pm. Since I have had no luck getting a time travel machine to work properly (thanks for the suggestions), I will not be able to attend this opening myself. That’s my loss, as I am sure it will be a feast for the eye, and I heartily encourage you to go in my stead.
The exhibition continues to July 15.

Wandering Waters

Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake, NY

There is also a new exhibition opening at Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake, starting June 30, which I would like you to know about. "Artists & Inspiration in the Wild" is a permanent exhibition devoted to selected works from their extensive art collection. One of my paintings, purchased by the museum five years ago, is part of that display. Blue Mountain Lake is in the heart of Adirondack State Park, so now you have at least two reasons to go there. I am sure you can come up with more.
Exhibition continues into the bright future from this rare day at the end of June.
