Dear Subscriber,
Have you ever wondered why your calendar has never been issued a speeding ticket? I have. Technically, summer is still on its way - but for me, regarding my upcoming exhibitions, it is moments away. Five shows, listed below, start in the next few weeks. I hope you are able to visit one of them close to you before they reach escape velocity on your own calendar.
Please check my website, or email or call me if you have questions about anything. Well, just about anything.
In the meantime, best wishes to you for a nice, slow late spring, followed by a leisurely summer. I'll be sending you my next news update around September.

Double Arc, Minneapolis, 42 x 30
1. Groveland Gallery, Minneapolis - America's River - solo
June 11 - August 13
First, the biggest show of my paintings this summer opens at Groveland Gallery on June 11. Several gouaches and oils will be on display at this solo exhibition titled America's River, on view through August 13. The show features paintings from the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area [link], in celebration of the National Park Service's 100th anniversary. These are some of the most urban-centric paintings I have done in a while. I will be in attendance on June 11 for an informal gallery talk at 1pm followed by the opening reception from 2-5pm. Contact the gallery for more information. [link]
You may also want to check out the "Friends" organization for the MNRRA if you would like to become involved or see what's going on. Friends of the Mississippi River [link] and Mississippi Park Connection [link].
